Significant collaboration between three major legal entities: Zulficar & Partners Law Firm, Matouk Bassiouny, and Adsero. As part of Egypt’s goal of reforming the school education system, TSFE is pioneering a novel approach for faster scaling of high-quality education offerings at accessible prices for the underprivileged middle-class across all governorates. This collaboration resulted in an agreement between The Egyptian Sovereign Fund of Egypt and Seera Company to invest in Fundamental Education. With a total investment of 350 million Egyptian pounds, the cooperation will begin with the opening of two new schools in the Global Village. The two schools will serve as the cornerstone of a long-term partnership between all stakeholders working within the framework of a strategic agreement to offer high-quality education to Egypt’s many governorates.
It is noteworthy that the two schools to be established are Futures Tech, which is one of the best Seera language schools in Egypt, and Regent British School – one of the schools that has proven to be a huge success in teaching with the British curriculum, and the study is expected to begin in the two schools by September 2023, as the objectives of the partnership institutions are aligned with providing high-quality and affordable education to all segments and governorates of the country.

TE cooperates with Ciena to maximize Egypt’s capacity in MENA submarine cable system

Telecom Egypt (TE) has announced that it will cooperate with Ciena to use its latest optical technology, Wave Logic 5 Extreme, to maximize the former’s capacity along the Mediterranean segment of the Middle East and North Africa submarine cable system (MENA-SCS).
The new technology allows providing more capacities while rationalizing costs, in addition to many technical advantages such as obtaining the best spectral efficiency and the highest rate of data transmission over the wavelength, and raising the efficiency of space and energy use.

Girgis Abd El-Shahid, Managing Partner at Shahid Law Firm led a team that includes Senior Associate Asmaa Badawy and Associate Ahmed Rasekh, Shahid’s team became the legal representative for Engineering Automotive, Manufacturing Co. (“EAMCO”), an affiliate of the Ministry of Public Business Sector, in the signing of a cooperation agreement with “Brightskies Company” to develop and manufacture primary components of #electric vehicles locally.
This arrangement was part of an Egyptian government initiative to boost the use of electric vehicles and to localize this rapidly growing industry in Egypt.
The goal is to increase local production of power units, electrical control systems, and vehicle engine installation.
All market needs of various models, ranging from individual vehicles to mass transit buses, will be met by the created systems.
