The major bank in the financial and banking industry, Attijariwafa Bank, was placed No. 16 in Forbes’ ranking of the Middle East’s 100 most powerful corporations for the year 2021.
It is the biggest bank in Morocco, and the sixth biggest in Africa in terms of total assets… It also has 5,548 branches spread over 25 countries in the Middle East, Europe, America, North, West, and Central Africa. During the pandemic last year, the bank set aside $3.3 billion to help 100,000 small and medium-sized enterprises.
